The Turning Point – After working so hard in MNREGA with her husband, neither she neither benefited from it nor paid for it. So she decided to take a stand for herself and the affected people from it.

Life Story of Ram Dulari – Ram Dulari has done some incredible work that states the effort she made for herself and community welfare. She was highly motivated towards her work and clear of her target, as she has to run her family and have to teach her siblings she doesn’t want her sibling to be the same as she is. She is a hard-working lady and has to run the family expenses she worked on the MGNREGA project. She was not paid for 96 days and meanwhile, the condition of the family moved toward the worst situation, neither she was financially well off nor did she have any cultivated land for farming so that she could spend on her living. As time passed she was worried for her family and during that period in 2019, she came in contact with SATHI Faizabad and the upcoming ERW project. Ram Dulari is a passionate lady full of motivation and has the willpower to stand against the shackles of society which is only for women. Adding to the involvement of Ram Dulari in Nari Sangh is the form of Leader of Nari Sangh by the community women.
Time passes and suddenly covid waves hit the world and affected Harrington Ganj badly. Hunger, Poverty, and unemployment all stand on one platform and the community must survive without food. So Ram Dulari and other Nari Sangh Leaders made efforts within the community to make a list of the families suffering from hunger and informed SATHI Faizabad for the ration help and 65 families provided help. The process to help the community continue in form of standing for the community women where she found that Gram Panchayat not providing the facilities to the people, especially women, she talked to the Gram Panchayat and BDO respectively, and also help the community people in issuing the identity cards, labor card and also make the people aware about their rights and policies availed by the government for the people.

Action Point – Throughout the story it was observed that Ram Dulari is a self-motivated woman from her situation and also has the caliber to work for others too. She is a motivator and role model for others.

Achievements of Gunja

• Formation of Transgender group
• 80 Transgender are part of the group
• Transgender Welfare Board has been constituted
• 2 members of the group got elected to the TG welfare board
• Got the approval for the set up of TG public toilets at public places
• Became the prime part of the TG community and also participated in meetings run by the TG
• In Mau district first old aged home was constructed having a 25-bed capacity.
• After a wide range of struggles, 2 TG received the TG certificate and 12 are still in the process.
• TG started taking an interest in education and to enhance their interest classes are been provided to them on weekly basis.
• Became an active member of the Transgender Safety Committee, which consists of 5 members, a district magistrate, 1- S.I., 2 - constables, and a social activist. The reason behind the formation of the committee was to provide space for TG to share their issues and get a solution to them.TSC was formulated at the Police station at Mau

Brief Story of Gunja’s work – The life of Gunja turned and changes the motive of life when she came into contact with a group of transgender and that happens in 2015. She was traveling towards Maharashtra from Mau, and at the stoppage she saw some transgender was not allowed to use the public restroom, she was surprised and her head was backed off by the situation, she raised her voice against the restroom caretaker and allowed the transgender to use the restroom. This was the first incident that makes her hang around. As time passes she gets involved in transgender and issues related to them. She is being called to share her experiences on the issues related to constitutional rights and constitutional rights. Currently, 215 transgender are in contact with Gunja. She is fighting for the identity card of transgender and other legal documents. Currently, only 3-TG got the identity card and others are still in the process to receive the card, The lack of availability of identity cards is the verification process that is too critical. So the process of verification passes through several steps and to mitigate the critical process Gunja is working on it. There is a wide range of issues related to transgender that includes their identity still being in the black box, birth certificate, death certificate, Aadhar card, or other identity proof. Gunja is trying hard to take a stand for them and also act as a bridge when needed by them. So overall Gunja is an icon for SATHI that truly work for the society

Jung Bahadur (Jung Hindustani) is a resident of Bahraich and a social changer. He prioritized society over himself, observed his life journey, and accomplished work. His life turned out when he was unwell after 12 standards, and to overcome it, he read some Ayurvedic books and treated himself. After his recovery, he circulates the power of ayurveda to people through the print media "Bahraich ki Aawaz."He started his social work at an organization, and later the spark twinkled when he saw two men hanging on a tree for not completing the assigned task by the forest department officials, and that too not salaried work. The horrifying situation filled his eyes with questions and inspired him to think about the mishappening. He has done a deep analysis and concluded that he has to act as a catalyst for the tribals and support them in arranging the nationality documents. He is a man who works on forest rights and tribals. He then started fighting for the tribals, and the impact of fighting led to convincing the government officials fighting helps the tribals by issuing the ration card, birth certificates, death certificates, and other authoritative identity cards. Standing for the rights of the tribals ignited the light for others also. He also drives public hearings headed by government administrators on running issues.

Achievements
• In 1998, he established the Red Cross center in the Bahraich district.
• He has taken a stand for the rights of the tribals and formed a group that makes the tribal people aware of their rights and exploitation. He drafted written statements and video clips of bonded laborers or unpaid laborers.
• In 2005 - The exploitation of tribals was finished after a massive protest by the tribals, especially by women of the community. The protest was against the land and animal taxes, and to control the situation forest department released a money order for the revenue and captive herdsmen and animals.
• Till 2022 -258 tribals of Banta Community are in the process of legal identity documents-Birth certificates, Death certificates, voter identity cards, etc.
• The tribals of Kailash Nagar processed the road, but the forest department was least interested in the connectivity of tribals with the mainstream. The forest department authority demolished the road, and after a fight and court cases, the ball was in the court of tribals, and the road constructed
