Since 1992, SATHI-UP has worked across Uttar Pradesh to strengthen community institutions, improve access to essential services, and support sustainable development through participatory, community-led action.
SATHI-UP adopts an integrated approach across five key thematic areas:
Strengthening women’s leadership, rights awareness, livelihood opportunities, and local governance participation.
Supporting children through community learning, awareness programs, and access to quality education.
Improving community health through nutrition awareness, preventive care, sanitation, and access to essential services.
Building resilient livelihoods and promoting sustainable, climate-aware community development practices.
Supporting grassroots organizations through training, network-building, and institutional capacity development.
Across Uttar Pradesh, SATHI-UP partners with communities to strengthen health, education, livelihoods, and grassroots leadership through long-term field initiatives.
To enhance the nutritional outcomes of pregnant women, lactating mothers, and under-five children through strengthened public health systems and community-driven behavior change.
Providing quality education to rural children aged 6–14 through mobile teaching units and digital learning resources, reaching 500+ students and establishing 5 learning centers.
Collaborating with organizations and institutions to create sustainable community impact.
